Someone who have 6/5 Visual acuity in both eyes, doctor told having suspicious sign of optic neuritis(minor blurred vision, minor color perception deficiency) but not diagnosed in test  since 4 months should take steroid treatment or  wait & watch  & make healthy diet routinely etc. As steroid treatments have potential side effects.

Hello A. Optic neuritis may present with 6/5 vision also. B. Visual field assessment, pupillary reflexes must be assessed C. After 4 months,there is no role of steroid in optic neuritis. Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly share your case file and test reports so that I may guide you better
