Since last night my father is getting a fever of 104 degree. After taking dolo 650 the fever comes down to 101.5 degree. He is having continuous diarrhea and cannot keep down water also. He is feeling very tired and his whole body is aching so much so that he can't go to the doctor also. Please give the diagnosis and suggest a treatment course.

Gastroenteritis (bacterial or viral)
Typhoid fever
Dengue or other viral fevers
Severe dehydration
Immediate Steps:
✔ Hydration is critical – Give ORS (oral rehydration solution) frequently
✔ Monitor temperature – Use a cold sponge if fever persists above 102°F
✔ Continue paracetamol (Dolo 650) for fever but avoid overuse
✔ Look for danger signs – Excessive weakness, confusion, reduced urine output, or persistent vomiting require emergency care
