I am noticing a lot of varicose veins on my legs. The region becomes hard at times. I didn't have any pain or burning sensation in those areas. What is the treatment for that? Do I need to leave it as it is?

Varicose veins develop when the valves of the veins are weakened. The treatment can be medical or surgical. Few medicines can reduce the swollen veins, sometimes in severe cases when strapping is required which will be done by a surgeon. It is advised to avoid dragging feet and keep legs elevated whenever possible, you can use pressurise stockings and and keep them on whenever you are standing and only to be removed while on bed. Keep leg elevation while sleeping. Pressure is talking for up to 25 to 30 mm of HG are available in the market.
