Cold compress only for pain. Swelling will decrease gradually. Any pain persisting beyond 48 hrs, consult Pediatrician.

Hello, It's ok to give ice pack with clothes covered for relief. Paracetamol drops for pain also useful. Usually it takes about 2-3 days for swelling to go. Take care. Follow my Instagram/tiwari_child_clinic for health Q&A. 🙏Tiwari child clinic Delhi🙏

Ice compression are better than hot fermentation. Redness and mild swelling will be there for 2-3 days. It will subside by self. You can also give Paracetamol drops for pain.
Next Steps
if there is warmth in the region and even after ice compression it is not reduced, please consult a doctor
