After 1.5 month painless vaccination my baby have lump and redness on his thigh..is it ok to give cold or hot fomentations... please guide me..he is very uneasy

Hello,
It's ok to give ice pack with clothes covered for relief. Paracetamol drops for pain also useful.
Usually it takes about 2-3 days for swelling to go.

Ice compression are better than hot fermentation. Redness and mild swelling will be there for 2-3 days. It will subside by self. You can also give Paracetamol drops for pain.

if there is warmth in the region and even after ice compression it is not reduced, please consult a doctor
