Use of Epsom Salt for Diabetic Patient

Hi, My mother is a diabetic patient and She feels frequent swelling on her feet causing sensory and pain problems. I got to know that Epsom Salt can help in reducing these issues. Can you please suggest that can my Mother soaks her feet daily with Epson Salt. Please advice.
