Urine infection in this age group should not be taken lightly. Infection can spread to kidneys and damage them. Urine culture and sensitivity report will guide you and your pediatrician about which antibiotic to be used. It’s 100% curable. Rather than consulting here it is advisable to admit your child in a hospital and let your pediatrician evaluate and treat him properly. He will even require some radionuclides scanning of kidneys after few weeks of treatment.
Next Steps
Admit your child and get proper treatment
