Urine/fungal infection
Hi!! I'm frequently facing urine- fungal infection. First it happened 2months back, I asked my doc friend and took prescribed Medicines and I was ok within 3days. Did not visit a gynecologist though, but now it has happened for the 3rd time. Please suggest as to why is this happening.

Hello,, it's not clear about what are your actual problems are (symptoms like painfull urination or frequent urination or abnormal vaginal discharge or odour) Since you treated for UTI, assuming painful urination, here is what you need to know, Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are one of the leading causes of painful urination(more common in women due to short urethra) Infections can occur in any part of the urinary tract, Besides painful urination, other symptoms of UTI include:Fever, Foul or stronger-smelling urine, Cloudy or bloody urine, Increased urinary frequency or urge to urinate. Sometimes painful urination can be related to a vaginal infection, such as a yeast(fungal) infection. With vaginal infections, you may also expect changes in vaginal discharge and odor, vaginal itching, if nun of these vaginal symptoms are present you need to consider treatment for UTI. But any of these vaginal symptoms are present visit gynecologist to treat your vaginal infection. And most important thing is you should complete the course if treatment and should not stop your medicines once you feel better.
