I am 30 weeks pregnant and had proteins and pus cells in a urine test. We followed it with Urine culture test. Results: Enterococcus faecalis - Colony Count Urine: 50,000 cfu/ml.

Ampicilin - Sensitive,
Ciprofloxacin - Sensitive,
Linezolid - Sensitive,
Teicoplanin - Sensitive,
Vancomycin - Sensitive,
Nitrofurantoin - Sensitive,
High Level Gentamicin - Sensitive.
Our OBG prescribed Niftas sr 100mg - 2 tabs each fr 5 days.
Should we take Niftas or consult Urologist?

Yes you can take Niftas or Nitrofurantoin as it's safe in pregnancy. You don't have to consult urologist for the same as long as it's not a complicated UTI.
