My 4 year child is feeling need for frequent urination and his urine was orange in shade when we took him to the toilet the last time. He also has been wetting his underwear for the past few days even though he is potty trained since the age of 2. He also has the habit of holding up urine for long. Today, he is also not active as usual. Are these signs of UTI? If yes, is there any Over the counter medication we can take?

Frequent Urination and bedwetting is common in this age due to bladder overactivity in children of this age group..the neural control over micturition also is not yet fully developed..not to worry..
But urine holding is definitely not good..he will need an evaluation and if need behaviour therapy
Next Steps
consult an Urologist
