Hi. High uric acid can cause gout which can cause pain and swelling in joints. However you are too young to have gout and gout causes pain in only one joint at a time (usually of the lower limbs).  Uric acid can be elevated in other diseases which cause arthritis (for eg:-psoriatic arthritis).  In these other diseases you need to treat the disease and not the uric acid.  Please read my blog on top myths regarding uric acid.  https://www.practo.com/healthfeed/top-5-myths-about-gout-3577/post Please get a detailed evaluation for all possible causes of joint pain and arthritis. I don't think you have these pains due to the uric acid.  Please meet a Rheumatologist for a detailed evaluation.  www.rheumatologybangalore.com Sharath
