Hello ma’am, a uric acid of 5.1 is within normal range, so swelling and pain may not be only from uric acid. Gout flares can still happen at normal levels, but arthritis or circulation problems also need to be checked. Please consult her doctor for proper evaluation before restarting or changing medicines. I hope it helps you. If more questions are in your mind, you can reach me for a free detailed consultation on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine.
