Hi there, unfinished root canals can develop infections again and can lead to spread of infection in surrounding teeth , damaging more of adjacent teeth due to retrograde infection and multiple teeth abscesses...I would recommend to surely finish root canal asap .it's mandatory..
Next Steps
permanent filling is again. very important to have a good seal  to ur root canal treated tooth with a cap which would increase the life of tooth by many years.
Health Tips
until  u r getting ur  RC completed...please go for regular irrigation n change of dressing..the cotton is kept inside in a incomplete RC ..which gets spoilt if kept long..so change of dressing equally important

Many a times the patient feels better after one sitting of root canal in which when the competent dentist removes the infected nerve tissues and cleans the canal...  So the patient becomes lazy because the pain seems to have gone away.  If the treatment is not completed the infection in the bone and the canals will recur and the patient will have complications in bone and the fracture of the concerned tooth too.  It is a must that u Complete the root canal procedure and do a proper crown on the tooth so that the tooth survives it's life. Feel free to consult Laser Smile Care Centre. God bless u.

Unfinished root canal will produce problems for sure. Infection will get increased and sometimes we might not be able to save the tooth. Also there are more chances for remaining tooth structure get broken. So finish the root canal as soon as possible. Also get a crown for that tooth after the root canal is completed to make it functional.

Hi, root canal treatment is done to take out the infection from roots of your tooth. If left unfinished, might ultimately leads to infection of the bone below tooth (periapical lesions) or infection of adjacent or opposing tooth because of more chances of food lodgement.
Next Steps
You can opt for single sitting root canal treatment which reduces the number of appointments and is less painful. Best of luck.

Unfinished root canal treatment leaves an open space which is an ideal breeding spot for bacterial infection of the canal.... Re-infection of the canals can occur and cause major symptoms and even reach a stage when it becomes non curable and requires extraction....
Health Tips
do not wait for the symptoms to resume the treatment....
