My mother has got ulcers on the side of tongue for last 15 days. She also was on course of 5 days augmentine from 1st to 5th for mild chest infection and was also given zifi for 2 days. The ulcers however are not going down. We have tried baking soda and salt gargles and applied Tees cream however pain is still there. The ulcer is now broken with raw skin and the pain is a lot especially after afternoon. Any suggestions to improve the state please.

Likely aphthous/traumatic ulcer
start topical steroid (triamcinolone), anesthetic gel, chlorhexidine mouthwash + B12.
If not healing in 7–10 days
