Ulcer in tongue
Hi Doctor, I get ulcer in my tongue occasionally which remains for 2 weeks approx. Please suggest some foods and medication to avoid this from occuring again. Thanks.

Hello, you can do baking soda in water mouth rinses. consult to a physician and get your vitamin B levels checked. if required take supplements.

Hello.This is called aphtous ulcer.which is common for most of the people.stress Could be one of the factor for this ulcer.if you have habit of changing tooth paste then stick to a common tooth paste.Have a regular blood check up for any vitamin deficiency.Visit an Oral medicine specialist and do the further  treatments.Medicines can give only after confirmation of diagnosis . Thank you

Hello, Ulcers are of many types and due to various reasons.The most common are Aphthous ulcers usually due to stress and vitamin deficiencies.Apply Dologel-CT gel over the ulcers 4-5 times a day,for a week.Leave it for 10 min and then rinse.Avoid spicy food for 10 days and take multivitamins for 10 days.
