Typhoid disease
Dear doc, I(Male 23)suffered from high fever(104.8) and head ache for 1 day. I consulted near by physician. He confirmed Typhoid(salmonella O 1:320,H 1:160). I was treated with cefoperazone+sulbactum IV,paracetamol+lignocaine IV,pantop IV. On 2nd day,fever headache subsided, but weak. He asked me to continue cefoperazone+sulbactum combination IV for 3 days BD and paracetamol tabs 650 mg 3 days TID and pantop IV 3 days BD , Multivitamin tabs 15 days OD. Pls tell me Ur advice on this. Thank u Doc.

HELLO, TREATMENT IS SATISFACTORY. CONTINUE IT. DIET MUST BE LIGHT SEMILIQUID IN FIRST N SECOND WEEK. OVERCOOKED RICE MESSED CHAPATI MOONGDAL IS TO BE TAKEN IN THIRD WEEK. ADD OVERCOOKED GREEN VEGETABLE IN FOURTH WEEK RESUME NORMAL DIET SLOWLY AS RECURRENCE RATE IS VERY HIGH.PLENTY OF LIQUIDS. MOSAMBI JUICE DAILY, BUTTER MILK., NIBUPANI, TEA, COFFEE, MILK ETS. CONSULT AGAIN AFTER 15 DAYS TO TREATING DOCTOR. OK.
