Type 2 Diabetic patients
My wife is  diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 1 month ago. She is 28 years old and working at a school. The initial test results shows her sugar levels are 320 and 240 (fasting and pp) respectively and H1c was 10. After initial medical treatment by doctors(consulted multiple ones), her current sugar levels reduce to 109 and 131. Kindly help me about how should I maintain this sugar from here and should I consult endocrinologist.

Hi, Very good improvement in sugars. Ideally you should be in continuous follow up with diabetologist or endocrinologist nearby to understand the protocols for managing diabetes. As she is very young , her targets must be below 100 & 140 , fasting and post meal respectively, with hba1c between 6- 6.5 %. So as to avoid long term complications of diabetes.
Next Steps
Regular exercise and proper diet control , with optimal medical treatment is necessary to keep her diabetes at target.
