Tsh level high at 11 week of pregnancy
I am 12 weeks pregnant. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism before pregnant and I was taking medication and it was under control. But when i checked at 11 th week it was 8.43. Doctor increased the dosage to 75 mcg. Will this high TSH level effect the baby? Is there something to worry?

Hypothyroidism does affect the child if not brought under control as it may cause developmental delay, but now that the medication dose is increased, you will have to monitor the TSH levels and have it corrected, which shouldn't cause any problem for the baby.
