TSH level for 2nd  baby planing
We are planing for 2nd baby, my wife age 31 years and her TSH report are as below TSH   -  4. 66 T3      -  0.98 T4      - 6.13 Please suggest does she need to take thyroid medicin and also please let us know what should be the TSH level for planning for 2nd baby.

For the general population the cut-off is 5 But, if a female is planning a pregnancy, the cut-off is 2.5 So, she will have to take thyroxine

She needs medicine as TSH is high. It should be below 2.5 if planning for baby
