My mother age is 57 , after health checkup I saw her tsh level is high 12.5 ..is it a serious concern. I hope there will be no risk. How I should go further for its treatment.

Your mother could have hypothyroidism. It is not serious or an emergency but she needs an evaluation consult an endocrinologist
