My wife is on thyronorm 75 MCG. Before conceiving that is in month of July her TSH levels were 3. Now she is 5 weeks pregnant. Now level as per latest report is 4.73. As per reference range in blood report the TSH level during first trimesters it should be below 4.5. What should we do.

you doesnt need to worry, tsh values wil be varing during pregnancy, however you she is on thyronorm 75mg continue till the next test and if value increase more than 5.5 then you need to think of it.

You should continue with the medicine till the delivery. If this hypothyroidism is pregnancy induced, then you can consult a homoeopathic physician to withdraw Thyronorm after delivery. During puberty and pregnancy, thyroid hormone requirement is increased. So,there can be pregnancy induced hypothyroidism. Regards
