Trying to conceive a baby

Asked for Female, 29 Years

Last month me and my visited a gynecologist and went through internal foliculr sonography and she was ovulated and raptured egg 18×18mm.but she didn't get pregnant. But this time her gynecologist suggested to take clomifene 50 mg. Here my question is... 1.Is that medicine safe if I was ovulated properly in last month.? 2.is this medicine can result into twins..If I was ovulated last month..? 3.is this medicine should be taken in case of No ovulation or it is fine to take this medicine if ovulation cycle is normal?
