Travelling for a newborn
I delivered a baby girl 10 days ago. Want to know how soon can I travel to another city with the baby? My family's intention is to travel in train for 36 hours when the baby is 1 month old (at least it will avoid pressure in plane).

Air travel can be a done after 2wks of age. Most of the flight services have their own criteria for carrying small children on flight. If possible don't travel with baby till at least 2-3 months of age as the baby's immune system is not well developed. You can breast feed the baby while take off and landing to avoid the pressure on eardrums

Hi, I would personally recommend travelling in a plane rather than undertaking a 36 hours train journey, you can breastfeed the baby or give the baby a bottle while the plane is climbing or coming down, the rest of the time it should be fine, carry Paracetamol drops for any problems
