Hello there , As long as there is no obstetric complications like low lying placenta-placenta previa or any other bleeding or any threatened preterm labour pains , it’s safe to travel in second triamester of pregnancy that’s 4th to 6 th month of pregnancy. During travelling- keep a fitness certificate with you current gestational age , issued by your obstetrician, in case airlines staff asks. Second- take a small walk around every half hour- 45 minutes. Keep moving legs. Avoid prolonged sitting. Third - wear elastic stockings , keep seat belt on all the time . And keep your self hydrated really well . Avoid gas forming food while travelling and before flights . And lastly, don’t forget your medicines and all documents. Most airlines allow travelling up to 36 weeks of pregnancy, but still do check with airlines while booking tickets . Always consult your obstetrician just before travelling .
