Basic difference between children n adult is its concentration n flouride content. Generally children ingest most of the toothpaste while brushing so we suggest to use kid toothpaste.   So you can continue with your paste and also many brands with  differnt flavours are also available. You can use that..like pediflour, kidodent n other. More importantly focus on method of brushing.   Dr. Yash Agrawal.

You can opt for many of the flavoured toothpastes available for kids nowadays based on what they like , doesnot have a greater impact on the overall hygiene. Just make sure that they develop the habit of brushing twice daily from this age onwards and in a right technique.

The basic difference between kids and adults toothpaste is the fluoride content, which is lower in kids toothpaste..... so there is no concept of outgrowing the age for kids toothpaste..... we advise the children below 12 years of age not to use adults toothpaste, but any adult can use a kids toothpaste for effective tooth cleaning..... as an alternative to Chicco, you can try cheerio gel toothpaste.... Regards....
