If u r getting RCT of ur front tooth it matters. Get tooth whitening first. It will be easy fir dentist to match your cap post bleaching.

Is the root canal for the front tooth or back ?
If front tooth , then bleaching or teeth whitening can be combined together.
If for a posterior tooth , it doesn't matter when u get it done.
