Hi...
Since you haven’t attached any pictures so no idea how badly is your tooth cracked.
The pain might be because of infection or you might have sensitivity only because in pregnancy usually all the symptoms get exaggerated, it can be because of gums too as in pregnancy they also at times become tender so there can be a lot of reasons for your pain.
And sometimes this pain radiates and you seem to have a headache.
Now since you started with your 2nd trimester now you can visit a dentist, it is one of the safest trimesters to get any treatment.
Also don’t self medicate ask your gynae which pain killer can you take or consult a dentist soon to get rid of the pain.
Next Steps
Consult a dentist soon
Health Tips
Do not bite or eat from that side, brush properly twice daily and do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day for now
Hello ma'm,
From the given history it seems that, you might be having cracked tooth ;but it has to be confirmed by clinical examination by dentist due to which seems to be having pain.
Also, you are in the 1st trimester of pregnancy, so in that period only simple Painkiller like.... plain paracetamol will help only temporarily .
For treatment of the tooth in question 2nd trimester will be the best period .
