Tooth painand swelling in four year old
My four year old complained of tooth pain 2 days back . I gave him painkillers at night and in the morning he complained of tooth pain again and also noticed a little swelling. Now he is pain free and its been 3 days now but his jaws and eyes are swelling each morning but he is not complaining of any pain. I checked for abscess and bleeding but didnt find any , just swelling on his cheeks and jaws. just fews months back I noticed a small lump on his gums but its gone now. what medicine or antibiotic  should I give him.

The upper back tooth definitely looks decayed . An OPG( full mouth xray) would be recommended to check the spread and then either pulpectomy( Root canal in primary tooth of children) or removal followed by replacement is recommended. Do not try any homely treatments, it would add on to the swelling and pain eventually
