Consult with a dentist
Online now
It depends upon the experience of the dentist , it's not necessary to take X-RAY always the condition can be judged without it also, but sometimes it is required for distinguishing minute things.....If you feel x-ray is must for you then you can consult from another dentist.

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done. if there is cavity, you can get it filled. If there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated, then get a crown placed over it.

Most of the times a clinician experience is more than enough to judge a condition...X-ray just adds to confirming the diagnosis...But most probably in your case an X-ray wasn't required to arrive at a diagnosis... Take care
