I went to local hospital, he told me cavity is there, do root canal, i don't think it's that serious, i thought he will take x-ray and then decide but no

Most of the times a clinician experience is more than enough to judge a condition...X-ray just adds to confirming the diagnosis...But most probably in your case an X-ray wasn't required to arrive at a diagnosis... Take care
