Tooth infection
I have got front tooth infection. Root canal has been done for that tooth. It's a week after root canal has been done. Even after a week, I'm having severe pain n not able to open my mouth n chew anything. Doctor has suggested to take antibiotics n pain killer. If i stop pain killer, Pain is increasing a lot.

Visit your dentist. Explain him what is happening.  Take an X ray to confirm whether things are fine.  Taking medicines simply won't help.  The cause of the problem has to be addressed.

There can be various causes for pain post rct it may also be due to overfilling or high points or improper bmp in rct or improperly filled canal etc consult your dentist for best treatment

Get an expert opinion from Endodontist..Some time Rct may not be done properly, or it might be sever apical infection..

Need to recheck the rct. If done improperly may need to be redone. Pls get an opinion from a experienced endodontist and not from a dental surgeon. sometimes re-rct needs to be done or apicectomy procedure.
