Hi Dr...today I went for cap process..at the time of modifications dentist told me that ur adjacent teeth also need rct...currently teeth no.15 has been done for RCT..now she z telling 14 and 16 also need rct....I m again tense bcoz my tooth will be shortened... They will b empty from inside... Will look like artificial teeth after capping... This will b costly as well for me.....is it ok rct with 4 or 5 teeth...

Rct will not make your tooth hollow...filling will be done inside the canal as well from where the infected tissue is removed. So dont worry about that and cap, if good material is choosen and a proper shade selection is done, they will blend with rest of your teeth and will not seem artificial at all. If your next 2 teeth are symptomatic(pain or obivous decay), and the doctor has taken a xray and shown and explained that root canal is needed...you can go ahead with the explained treatment plan.
