If the pain increases on lying down, then you may need a root canal. Decay has reached the nerve/ pulp of the tooth. Visit your dentist asap. Check www.merakidentalstudio.com for more information

Hello sir. The pain in your tooth is most likely is due to an infection in your tooth. You need to get a x-ray done to know the extent of the infection. If the infection is superficial, it can be treated by a filling and if the infection is deep, the tooth will need to go under a root canal treatment followed by a cap. Also get your scaling and polishing done. Get in done every 6 months to maintain your oral hygiene.

Get x ray done. If cavity is not deep then filling can be done but if its deep it needs root canal treatment followed by crown.
