  4. Tonsils on the right side of throat.

My sister is 12yo. She is suffering from tonsils but from a long time now...we took her to one of best hospitals in uttarakhand.The tonsil isn't going back to normal even with meds prescribed. It doesnt hurt but its blocking half of the throat. She can eat but i wanted to know any solution for this... and i also wanna know if its anything serious or not...i am worried about her health. i was adviced that operation can be done but it can b serious. Please help.

Enlargement of tonsil on one side could be due to many reasons,  from regular infection, or TB or a tumor behind the tonsils.  She needs to be investigated.
