My son is 18 months old.
He consumes around 1 ltr cow milk in a day...many times he compromise lunch/dinner but consumes milk.
He suffers from hard stool. sometimes blood is seen on it. So we consulted a doctor.
Today our doctor told us to reduce milk intake to 0.25ltrs.
Its bit hard to believe.
Shall we do it?

At 18 months of age milk is not sufficient for Growth of child.
At this age, solid foods should be given in more Quantity.
Like parantha, banana, apple, mango, chiku, rice, cereals, paneer, yoghurt, ghee and butter in every meal.
This will also relieve your child's constipation problem.
Milk should be given only twice a day and other solid foods should be increased.
I hope this has helped you.
Wishing your baby good health.
