Sometimes during removal of wisdom teeth excessive pressure is created in the corresponding tm joint due to long standing or excessive mouth opening this leads to post op tm joint pain... Another thing to be considered is whether your extracted site has healed properly or not... These things can only be judged by proper clinical evaluation and subsequent radiography...
While actual tmj pain will wear off slowly by taking muscle relaxants, hot fomentation and soft diet... A slow healing or unhealed socket wont go away on its own... In either case you should visit your dentist...
Next Steps
visit your dentist soon...
Health Tips
word of caution- take soft diet, do hot fomentations, avoid excessive mouth opening...

When the healing process is not following a proper path, an infection can occur (also called a dry socket). The main symptoms of a dry socket are jaw and ear pain, which is why if you see any problem with your healing process, you need to contact your dentist as soon as possible.May be your healing process not in proper path or you may develop tmj pain due to tmj injury .
Next Steps
Please visit near your dentist for proper diagnosis
