Tinea capitis
I have a fungal infection in my scalp i treated it many time ,i took anti fungal medicines itraconazole and cream also ,these medicine works better and finish this .but problem is this when my hair grows then again it begins ,it produce itching so what should i do for this for permanent solution

Hi. Greetings. It is very unlikely that u have tinea capitis at this age. Mostly you midst be having pityrosporum folliculitis and dandruff. This condition may be recurrent and you'll need maintenance antifungal shampoos and oral drugs if there's worsening. Avoid application of any oil on hair. Make sure your helmet/ head scarf/ cap is cleaned regularly if u wear one. Hope this helps. Warm regards Dr Govind Suresh Mittal.
