Throat infection
I have had strep throat infection for more than 20days. I have to see a doctor after 3month after taking medicine like antibiotics in the form of azithromycin ( 500mg per day for 5 days). It occurs off and on in my life. I care of myself too about this infection. However. I am usually caught by this infection.

The throat infection you have described ,may be pharyngitis , tonsillitis or a sequel to post nasal drip.
It's better for you to consult ENT specialist for examination ,he may ask for throat swab culture as you have been treating yourself with antibiotic

Please consult with a General Physician and also an ENT specialist in your area. Let them examine your throat and chest, do some throat swab examination, take an X ray Chest and they can give appropriate treatment.
Self medication is the reason for your sore throat for 20 days.
