When she wants a certain thing at a given time, she will get it done at any cost. She keeps crying too loudly and does not listen to any other thing. We cannot divert her attention at that point. For example at 10 pm in the night she wanted a ride in our car and we had to unwillingly relent to her wishes. She is inconsolable when she gets stubborn but immediately calms down when her demand is fulfilled. It has become a problem now and is only increasing with time. She is also addicted to cartoon network.
She is 2.5 years old. Her diet is normal for her age. She weighs around 17 kgs, sleeps for 9-10 hours a day. Her activities apart from these issues are normal. She has no friends or cousins her age since she is the only child in the family. There are no kids in the neighborhood and she has not started school yet. Her mental faculties are sharp and she grasps things fast. However, she hasn't learnt speaking yet. Her vocabulary is limited to a few phrases.
How do we deal with it?

Be aware that child is actually overpowering get you and you are loosing to your own kid.
Learn to be more Assertive and disiplined in her day to day activities.
Follow a strict YES OR NO exercise strictly not missing a single day.
I would suggest to consult a Psychologist and get answers for many of your questions.
Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
This is normal at her age and children are like that. These are called temper tantrums.
You have to talk to the child and play with her more since she has no other company as you said.
It's just a phase and it will pass. Nothing much can be done about it.
You have to be patient and talk to her and try your best.
There are no medicines for this.
All the best.
Best regards.
Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
