Tetnus vaccine for a cut.
I got a minor cut by a metal object 48 hours ago. The last tetnus vaccine i took was a year ago. Do i need the vaccine again? Will it be effective after 48 hours?

Hey, if you have completed primary vaccination schedule along with boosters ,no need of TT now,booster dose has to be given on 5th years ,10 and 16 th year of age and single booster for every 10 years there after ,since you had booster at 25th year it protects you for another 10 years . If you are not sure of your Immunisation you can get TT shot even after 48 hours of injury.
