Testing for oral STDs
The patient was involved in unprotected oral sex and vaginal sex (protection was used). They have already been tested for the following blood and urine tests and all have been negative. However since oral sex was involved, I need to know if an oral swab test is required separately for chlamydia or gonorrhoea in addition to the tests below that were already done. 1 HIV 4th gen test (p24 antigen and antibody for HIV 1 & HIV 2) 2. Hepatitis B (HBsAg) 3. Hepatitis C (Anti HCV) 4. Herpes simplex, HSV 1 IgG 5. Herpes simplex, HSV 1 IgM 6. Herpes simplex, HSV 2 IgG 7. Herpes simplex, HSV 2 IgM 8. Chlamydia IgG 9. Chlamydia IgM 10. TPHA (Syphilis) 11. TPAB (Syphilis) 12. N. Gonorrhea 13. Chlamydia trachomatis 14. Trichomonas vaginalis 15. Ureaplasma urealyticum 16. Ureaplasma parvum 17. Mycoplasma genitalium 18. Herpes simplex HSV 1 19. Herpes Simplex HSV 2 20. Gardnerella vaginalis
