Hello Doc,
My mother is 56 yrs old and is suffering from osteopenia from a long time on her right shoulder joint. She is undergoing treatment for the same. Her doctor has prescribed for Terifort 750 mcg solution for injection for 28 days consecutively. She has also done an MRI and the same has been attached here. Could you please confirm if the said treatment is the correct one and also what does her MRI report state in a layman's language pls ? Requesting your support in this so I can do what is best for my mother.
Kind regards,
Sandeepan JM.

Osteopenia and the attached MRI reports are completely different
Attached reports have
Partial rotator cuff tear with impingement with ac joint arthritis
This requires clinical examination and if any power loss than it needs arthroscopic rotator cuff repair with subacromial decompression.
But if no power loss then can be treated without surgery and physiotherapy alone
