hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but that will give you only temporary relief from pain. you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. If required get a x-ray done. if there is a cavity then get it filled. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, then you need to get it treated.

First of all dental pain does not subside by taking medication there may be temporary relief after taking medicine but pain recurs when effect of medicine wears off. Mostly you have carious tooth which needs to be treated. Visit dentist get iopa done which will give idea about whether filling will suffice or root canal treatment should be done.
