Teeth implant
I recently met with an accident in which I lost a front teeth(1no.) I want to implant a teeth. My doctor (not a dentist) said that I should give enough time to get my gums strengthen before implanting teeth. Is that true? If so how long should I wait.? As of now I don't feel any pain in my teeth. Pleass clarify this

Its not always required..we can place implants along with extraction of tooth...your current clinical situation is not clear..have you extracted the entire tooth???or just lost the crown portion...if its a fracture of crown portion, there are many other treatment options also....for a completely extracted tooth, you can wait 3-6 mths for adequate bone formation...in the mean time u may use other prosthetic options to replace tooth temporarily
Next Steps
consult an implantologist
