Taking lots of medicine - side effects ?
I am 65 & retired. I never had any Heart disease. My Gall- Bladder(1996) & Prostate(2011) are operated. Now my BP, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile, USG reports are all well within normal. Presently I am taking Deplatt A75, Pantodac 40, FBX 40, Lipikind 10, Calchek T40, CTD 6.25, Revelol XL 12.5. My BP remains 120/82 with medicine. In the last week my BP goes down to 110/70 & the present Dr. withdrawn CTD 6.25 & Revelol XL12.5. My job was transferable. The first doctor prescribed Aspicot 20, Pantodac, FBX 40, Amlopress 5 about 17 years back. After that all other doctors continued Aspirin, Antacid, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile related medicines. Although the related reports were normal. Now I understand that I have been addicted with the medicines. Please advise whether the medicines should be continued or are there any side effect(s)? May be suffering now a days. Please advise.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Lipids, uric acid would have been high at some point in your life when these medicines were started. And they are all staying in normal limits because of the medicine. I would suggest you consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
