I have been suffering from tailbone pain since last 3 years. it hurting a lot every time while sitting more than 5 minutes . i am doing exercise suggested by the physiotherapist but didn't get relive.

Tailbone Pain cannot be treated just by exercises only as it is caused by compression of the coccyx as we sit by the surface. the MAJOR CAUSE OF THE PAIN IS THE SEAT / AREA Where we sit on. (assuming your's is the case of elongation of tailbone confirmed by X-ray). You will need a special Cushion / seating that minimizes the stress on the Coccyx (tailbone) so that the JOINT REACTION FORCE ONTO the Coccyx is near to ZERO resulting in no pain. Consult with an Occupational Therapist or Adaptive Seating Professional that will help you cushion according to the need. The Cushion is usually Hollow at the Centre on back region.
