My son, age: 10 months is suffering with fever of 101 degree and doctor has given Syrup toxim 0 50mg hence it's safe for a 10 months old baby please suggest

Syrup.Taxim-O is an antibiotic, which will kill the organisms causing infection (infection is the cause of fever).Its safe for your baby. You need to give antipyretic medication for fever.Give your baby plenty of fluids.

If food intake is very less,passing less urine comparatively, running high grade fever you need to consult a Pediatrician

Do tepid sponging when fever is high >101 and good hydration will decrease the fever rapidly
