Do you get tonsillitis often?
If you have associated nasal symptoms like runny nose or post nasal drip.. Your sinus may be the source of throat irritation and swollen tonsil. Sometimes tonsils remain hypertrophied through out life.
Little bumps over tongue.. Mostly it is mistaken circumvallate papillae which is palpable ( a normal structure seen on our tongue)
