I use to play badminton 10 yrs back , I tried to restart and played a competitive game without any warmup or practice which caused both knees and ankles swelling . Now it's two months swelling in ankles comes again even in normal working. Sometimes feels better but again it happens.

Resume your badminton activities gradually, slowly take it to higher level. For current knee pain you can do some local therapy and a paracetamol tablet will be suffice.

You seem to have weak calf.... Try calf muscles strengthening... Lift your leg above your body level with the help of pillow... while you sleep.... And maintain this for at least 3 hours.... This should resolve in 3 to 4 weeks... If not visit a vascular specialist as this may be related to your blood flow
