Swelling in neck area, scan shows lesion
Helo Doctor, my dad aged 61, has frequent swelling of neck area, he has hyperthyroidism from past 6 months and using medication. Ultrasound done, it shows impression as follows: large solitary echogenic solid mass lesion noted arising from left love if thyroid. Attaching the scan report here, pls check and suggest sir.. is it serious..

Thyroid swellings in males are usually not safe to  observe.. Please get usg guided fnac from the thyroid nodule
