Swelling in foot and pain
I can see little bit swelling and painat my left foot near big thumb finger. Can you suggest any home remedy or pain relief medication

There may be some injury or there can be excessive pressure on that area while sitting or standing or getting up after sitting. Apply ice and give rest.

Hi! Your problem might be associated with raised uric acid levels. However, a short course of NSAIDs( Aceclofenac & Paracetamol)might be tried initially. If the pain and swelling persist after 14 days, further evaluation and clinical examination will be needed.

It may be due to gout - Uric acid may be high. Anti inflammatory might help. Consult orthopaedic dr to to rule out infection. Hot or ice fomentation might help.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is  any. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use a pillow under the foot. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for foot and ankle. --.(Take help of a physiotherapist or, visit my you tube channel 'ncgupta me and my yoga'.) --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan.
